China is simply filled with incredible, yet virtually undiscovered, places to visit. The Red Beach, located in Panjin in Dawa County, proudly boasts a gorgeous red landscape which is attributed to the red ‘suaeda salsa’ plant. The area is actually a massive marshland which is the largest of its type in the world. The color of the sea beach will range from a lighter red to deep red, depending on the stage of growth of the plant life there. Visitors will also delight in literally hundreds of species of animals and birds which are indigenous to the area, providing ample opportunity for the traveler to see and experience the area’s nature in a very direct way. The location is protected by the government on the state-level due to its fragile ecosystem, and has been so protected since the late 1980s. If you are looking for a place to holiday which will satisfy you mentally and visually the Red Sea beach is a wonderful choice for anyone!
