9.) Goblin Valley State Park, Utah
This amazing park possesses a powerful aesthetic, and was discovered by cowhands in search of cattle. The 1920s brought full discovery of the secluded area by the owner of a ferry and two others who accompanied him. They stumbled upon the natural rock formations by accident, and the sight simply took their breath away. Chaffin, the Hite Ferry owner, referred to the area as ‘Mushroom Valley’ for the shape of the rocks there, spent much time photographing the awe-inspiring land, which was subsequently made a possession of Utah State. The park offers a variety of activities along with its beauty, including museums, camping, watersports, and several other activities. This is a great place for fresh, new travel!
